Common questions
What does a menter do?
You send the apartment. Your menter calls the landlord, sets the viewing time, goes in your place and video-calls you from inside. Afterwards you get a report: photos stamped with the time and distance from the address, short clips, a checklist and a plain-words verdict.
Who are the menters?
Locals who live near the apartments they view. Before taking any job, every menter passes an ID check, a selfie match against their ID and a video interview with us. Renters rate each viewing, and so do menters.
How do I pay?
Directly to your menter with Bit or PayBox, after you’ve read the report. The app opens Bit with your menter’s number and the amount ready. Ment never sees your card or bank details.
Can I cancel a request?
Yes, from the request screen in the app: tap Cancel request. If a menter has already taken it, they’re told right away. Please cancel as early as you can, since your menter may already be on the way.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile, then Edit profile, then Delete account. Or write to support@ment-app.com from any address and tell us the phone number on your account. Our privacy policy explains what’s deleted and what’s kept.
How do I become a menter?
We’re opening in Tel Aviv first. Join the waitlist and pick “I want to be a menter”, and we’ll let you know when sign-ups open.
